the way we talk
I have noticed in reading of the way people in the old testament talk to one another. They are saying things like, With God's help or their enemies say, We see your Lord is with you and takes care of you. I know culture was different then than now. But we never hear our enemies say, your Lord is with you or we see that your God has found favor with you.
Do we show enough outward praise of God and how we are blessed by God. I know we still here occassionaly, With God's help..... But how do we show our chrisitianity to the world that they would say, Your Lord has blessed you.... Or say, if the Lord pleases......
Am I not seeing this correctly and that it is all culture and they way we speak today. I think we should live our lives so people will know God is in our life. I am as guilty as anyone. I hope this makes sense.
