April 10, 2016 Olivet Discourse.Matthew 24 deals with destruction of Jerusalem because of the sins of Israel and the rejection of Christ the Messiah. So many times He pleaded with His own people to return to Him and His Father.
Christ loved His people but needed to love the Father more and the souls of mankind. He was going to the cross but judgment was coming on Jerusalem.
Christ enemies will be punished along with the wicked, but God’s chosen people will be protected. There is a universal judgment coming, I Thess. 5:2-3, II Thess. 1:7-10, II Pt. 3:10-14. Will you be ready for that judgment?
