This text is in the context of what we know as the Sermon on Mount, and is a text of warning. Christ calls out to use your eyes and common sense in the life the are living spiritually in the world.
The major points I believe are to be careful who you listen to and to be a fruit examiner. What is the product of of a persons teaching. I ask us to examine also what fruit we are producing with what we share concerning truth as Christians today.
